Kahr's KP4543 pistol features a textured back, polymer frame; 3.54-inch, match-grade polygonal rifled barrel; and a matte stainless-steel slide riding on special front and rear steel inserts for long-term durability, reliability and accuracy. The weapon weighs in at 17 ounces and its width at the top of the slide is 0.950-inch while the width at the polymer grip is exactly 1 inch. The pistol's overall length is 6.1 inches and its height from the top of the rear sight to the bottom of the grip is 4.8 inches. The P45 has the same smooth-as-silk, double-action-only trigger that Kahr pistols are famous for. The trigger breaks at 7 1/2 pounds and the length of the pull is 1/2 inch. Each pistol ships with two six-round, stainless-steel magazines and a trigger lock. This weapon comes standard with low-profile, white bar-dot combat sights, while three-dot tritium sights are available as an option.
