Available from Vidisco, the Flat foX-17 is a truly portable Amorphous Silicon Flat Panel with a large imaging area. The Flat foX-17 equipment package can work with any X-ray source (portable or industrial, continuous or pulsed). The panel provides 14bit dynamic range (16,384 gray levels), high resolution and penetration abilities and the portable Dual Energy capability for organic/inorganic detection (now available also with pulsed X-ray sources). The system is contained in one easily carried case (including the X-ray source), and is 100 percent battery operated. Flat foX-17 can be operated by just one person and is used in the aerospace, petro-chemical, casting, forging, electronics and security industries.
