Hot Pepper Technology, Inc.'s eChat Locker, designed for Law Enforcement use only, assists the online investigator with archiving and sealing IM and Chat conversations during an investigation. Until now, the evidence produced by the investigator on AOL and Yahoo services was subject to tampering and required the investigator to testify in court with regard to the validity and content of the evidence. Now eChat Locker produces sealed evidence reports that District Attorneys may find to be more effective and reliable in a court of law, either with or without additional validity testimony.
