LegaLock launched its secure transcriptions service in response to federal mandates that require encryption of all SBU data on mobile devices and prohibit transmission of this data to non-secure commercial IT systems. The LegaLock solution offers a way to deliver both expedient and secure transcriptions. LegaLock’s solution utilizes server-based, FISMA-compliant and government-audited IT systems, a secure web portal, a federally approved IT facility, and a virtual private network for remote connections. In addition, all transcribers perform work on LegaLock-owned laptops that access and edit information but cannot download or store data.
